Tips for Storing Guacamole
After a successful gathering, a common dilemma is what to do with leftovers. Guacamole can prove tricky as the avocados are very sensitive and will begin to turn brown if left out for a few hours. Don’t fret! There are ways to ensure your guacamole stays fresh and tasty for up to 2-3 days after. Just follow these easy tips:
Pour a thick layer of water over your guacamole.
Cover with plastic wrap, but push it down as you cover to remove any pockets of air.
Keep Refrigerated.
Is Gnocchi Pasta or Potato?
If you’re new to gnocchi, you’re probably wondering where it fits in other Italian cuisine. One common misconception is that gnocchi is a type of pasta; however, this is not the case, as the primary ingredient in gnocchi is potato. Perhaps what draws the comparisons to pasta is that, like pasta, gnocchi is exceptionally versatile and complements a broad spectrum of flavours from recipes such as Gnocchi Stix with Bolognese. It’s no wonder that gnocchi is fastly becoming as popular worldwide as its famous compatriot pasta!
