Step 1
GRATE cucumber and place in a strainer; gently press to release as much fluid as possible.
Step 2
BLEND cucumber with yogurt, dill, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and salt and pepper to taste. Makes 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) tzatziki.
Step 3
MELT butter in a non-stick skillet set over medium-high heat.
Step 4
ADD Olivieri® Skillet Gnocchi Stix™; sauté for 5 minutes or until gnocchi are golden brown. Remove from heat.
Step 5
SERVE warm gnocchi with tzatziki dip on the side.

The yogurt is traditionally made from sheep or goat’s milk, although any full-fat Greek yogurt can also be used.

So, if you’re going to say it, it’s better to say it right than simply guess! The pronunciation of tzatziki is “tuh-zee-kee”, with the stress being on the middle syllable zee.
