Mushroom Ravioli with Bacon & Butter Sauce
PREPARE ravioli according to package directions.
COMBINE broth and cream in skillet set over medium heat; bring to boil. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat to low. Remove pan from heat; slowly whisk in butter, returning to stovetop as needed, until butter melts and sauce is thickened.
STIR peas, bacon and lemon juice into sauce.
POUR sauce over ravioli in serving dish. Garnish with Parmesan and chives.
For even more mushroom flavour, sauté mushroom slices and serve as garnish.
This comforting pasta recipe is made with a base of Olivieri® Mushroom Lovers Ravioli coated in an indulgent buttery cream sauce with crispy bacon, peas, and a hint of lemon juice to enhance the overall flavour.
Ideal for a family meal or to serve dinner guests, this impressive meal will get even picky eaters to eat the entire plate. And, no one has to know that it only took you 25 minutes to prepare and toss everything together!
Start your dish with our fresh ravioli stuffed with portobello mushrooms, creamy ricotta and zesty Parmesan cheese. The best part is that as it’s fresh, it cooks up perfectly in just 3 minutes! Once everything is ready simply pour your homemade sauce right over your ravioli and enjoy garnished with Parmesan cheese and chopped chives.
For a vegetarian version simply omit the cooked bacon or use a similar smoky flavoured alternative.
