How to Make Sun-Dried Tomatoes
If you are looking to elevate your meals, using quality ingredients is always the key to the best recipes. Roasting your very own sun-dried tomatoes is actually very easy and worth every minute! Plus, you can use them in a variety of preparations, from pasta sauces to salad or pizza toppings.
The easiest method is to roast your sliced tomatoes in the oven until dry. Any variety will work, but we recommend using Plum or Roma tomatoes. Take out from the oven, allow to cool, and store in a glass container with a tight lid covered with extra virgin olive oil. Add dried herbs like oregano or thyme for boosted flavours.
