Homemade Taste
There is something incredibly delicious about using fresh pasta in your meals. It adds a layer of homemade taste that just can’t be beat. This dish of fresh Olivieri® Linguine with vegetables and basil pesto makes for a wonderful meal any day of the week. Prepare it for a weeknight family dinner side dish and the results will not disappoint.
For the pasta coating, the sauce is begun with a base of sautéed spring vegetables like asparagus, red onion and pepper. Then our specialty Olivieri® Basil & Cheese Pesto is added in with a bit of broth to thin it slightly and more easily coat all of the linguine evenly. To add a bright taste, sprinkle lemon zest over the top before serving. And, for an additional crunch, top with chopped pine nuts.
Advantages of Fresh Pasta
In contrast to dried pasta, when you use fresh linguine it cooks to perfection in just 2 minutes. Have your sauce prepared before you start boiling your pasta to serve immediately for amazing taste.
Our fresh pasta is made with only whole ingredients like durum wheat semolina, water, salt and egg. So you can enjoy the fresh pasta taste in your meals, without the hassle or clean up.
