Indulgent Tortelloni Recipe
This incredible and quick cooking recipe was created by Chef Jonathan Garnier using our specialty fresh pasta Olivieri® Signature Formaggi with Aged Parmesan Reggiano Tortelloni.
Get that fresh pasta taste without the hassle, any night of the week, with our filled and fresh tortelloni. Made from quality ingredients like durum wheat semolina, water and eggs, our pasta is filled with authentic Italian Parmesan Reggiano cheese and mascarpone for an indulgent taste that cooks in just 3-4 minutes.
To make this dish a meal, the pasta is cooked with Québec asparagus sautéed with garlic, thyme and balsamic vinegar. For best results cook until tender and crisp for additional texture to the creamy tortelloni.
Matane Québec Shrimp
This recipe also calls for Matane shrimp, also known as Nordic shrimp, from the region of Québec. This is most often sold cooked or frozen with a very short period of time where you can find it fresh. They are small, salty and perfect for meals like pasta, however any other fresh or frozen variety of shrimp can be substituted in if needed. To add an even more elevated touch to this meal serve with lobster tail or crabmeat.
If you enjoyed these tastes, purchase a bit more shrimp and asparagus to enjoy with this recipe for Tortellini with Asparagus Shrimp tossed in our Olivieri® Creamy Rosé Sauce.
