Elevated Classic
For an elevated version of classic mozzarella sticks and tomato basil sauce, these Olivieri® Fresh Cheese Filled Skillet Gnocchi are perfect for both kids and adults alike! Made with quality ingredients and stuffed with a combination of four cheeses like mozzarella, Emmental, comté and white cheese, enjoy gooey goodness in every bite.
And unlike other mozzarella sticks, there is no need for deep frying as this recipe uses skillet sautéed potato and cheese gnocchi. All you need are 10 minutes and 3 ingredients to make this wonderfully delicious and convenient meal. As the gnocchi are fresh, they only need to be sautéed in the pan with a bit of oil until crispy and tasty.
Serve with fresh tasting homemade or store-bought sauce on the side for dipping or toss everything together. To make it a meal, add in cooked ground beef, turkey or Italian sausage along with sautéed vegetables of choice. You can also swap in Olivieri® Italian Sausage Sauce or Olivieri® Creamy Rosé Sauce made with just a touch of cream.
