Classic Yet Simple
This old fashioned lasagna recipe is made with just a few quality ingredients for a wonderfully tasty dinner to celebrate or to enjoy for a weeknight family dinner around the table. There’s no better way to bring authentic Italian flavours to your table than by using Olivieri® fresh pasta, sauces and gnocchi.
With our convenient and delicious Olivieri® Lasagna Sheets and homemade or store-bought Marinara sauce, all you’ll need is extra lean ground beef, vegetables and cheese. Not to mention, this recipe only requires 20 minutes of prep time, so you can leave the rest up to your oven and get back to spending time with your family or crossing things off of your to-do list.
To make this a vegetarian meal, use a meat-free substitute in place of ground beef like tempeh, extra vegetables or vegan mince.
How To Layer Lasagna
Our fresh lasagna sheets make layering your dinner even simpler and tastier as they require no extra cooking beforehand. Starting your dish with a base layer of our Classic Marinara Sauce will help infuse all of the flavours while also ensuring that nothing sticks to the bottom. Following the sauce, layer with fresh lasagna sheets, more sauce and ricotta cheese. Repeat those layers as necessary. If your dish does not match the size in the directions, make it work for you with only 1 round of layers or use more than one dish if you have extra. Finally, top with as much mozzarella and Parmesan cheese as desired! After all, you can never have too much cheese.
